Terry Hsiao

Managing Partner

Terry Hsiao is an enterepreneur, advisor and investor with extensive experiences in the United States and the greater China region. Mr. Hsiao has founded multiple companies and has taught Entrepreneurship and New Venture Funding courses at Marymount University and George Washington University. In 2019, as Head of Strategy at Kaleyra, a cloud communications platform company, Terry helped lead the (de)SPAC IPO of Kaleyra at NYSE. In addition, Terry serves two terms o the board of Center of Innovation and Technology, a state-funded economic development and investment agency in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Mr. Hsiao obtained a Master’s Degree in Management of Technology at MIT Sloan School of Management and BSEE Honors in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University. Mr. Hsiao has been awarded “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Asian American Chamber of Commerce in 2016, and the Excellence Medal by US Pan Asian AMerica Chamber of Commerce in 2019.

Since 2008, Terry has made about 50 direct angel investments in early-stage startup companies and holds LP interests in a number of venture funds, accelerator funds, SPVs, secondary funds and other emerging funds such as E14. Overall, these investments have produced more than 5 unicorns and have generated an average IRR of 15%+.

Nina Wang, Esq.

Ms. Wang has previously served as the CFO of multiple companies and possesses deep international experience, with special expertise in guiding early-stage companies experiencing aggressive growth. In her role as CFO for such companies, she was responsible for all financial activities of the company and optimizing operations, including strategic planning, implementation, and operational management.

Previously, Ms. Wang was Vice President and General Counsel for Greencourt Capital, a US subsidiary of a publicly traded company on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, focusing on real estate investment and asset management with $600MM in total AUM. She oversaw the company’s structuring design for international transactions, tax planning, investment decisions, investment risk management, and post-investment management. She managed the company’s compliance with HUD, FINRA and the securities laws of the United States, including Rule 5ths 06(b) of Reg D. She also maintained relationships with investors and provided guidance on overseas real estate investment strategies.

Ms. Wang has over 20 years of tax and finance experience as a tax attorney. She worked in finance and tax planning for Lockheed Martin Corporation (“LMC”), Computer Sciences Corporation, IBM, Deloitte & Touche, and Thelen Reid & Preist LLP. The projects she participated in and provided tax advice for include the formation and operation of United Launch Alliance, a JV between LMC and Boeing, and various cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Wang has an Honors Bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University and earned her law degree in Taxation from New York University School of Law. She is a member of the New York State Bar and a CPA licensed in New York State.
